Research on diaspora investment interests in their home country - Survey by the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan

The William Davidson Institute (WDI) at the University of Michigan is an independent non-profit research and educational organization that creates and disseminates knowledge to support economic development in low-and-middle-income countries. The Financial Sector Development (FSD) initiative at WDI was established to identify and implement ways to improve access to capital for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in emerging economies. The research focus of the FSD initiative is on remittances; specifically determining if/how remittances can be used to promote entrepreneurial activity and catalyze private sector development in emerging economies. We have developed a survey to understand diaspora investment interests. The link for the survey can be accessed at - https://umich.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3m8tZ1IA1wFk1CJ
