ReachScale is a global network that identifies and scales the most innovative social enterprises. The advent of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—and the striking lack of scaled SDG examples—presents opportunities for replacing unsustainable models with sustainable models that can scale. ReachScale and our network partners have identified several of the top social enterprise scale opportunities globally. In Delhi, Bangalore, Johannesburg and East Africa, ReachScale is assembling groups of scalable social enterprises and NGOs to scale together.

Diaspora Talent

Bridging brain drain Diasporatalent.com is a premium and 1st online job portal whose mission is to bridge ‘brain drain’ in low- and middle-income countries. We list public sector jobs, private company jobs, social enterprise jobs, not-for-profit jobs and multinational company jobs for which it’s difficult to recruit the best staff. Why Diaspora Talent? We’ve noticed that in many low- and middle-income countries employers and government agencies struggle to recruit highly skilled and talented workers in critical jobs, while thousands of quality and passive candidates in the diaspora are unable to access jobs announced on local media outlets in these countries. That’s why we started Diasporatalent.com – to bring together employers in low- and middle-income countries and a talent pool in the diaspora, to provide resources to people find a job in their home country or country of interest, and to help employers find and recruit the best staff across the globe.

In 2012, after over 10+ years in the field, filming communities affected by long-time conflict, I was inspired to set up PeacebuildingTV (PBTV), an Australian non-profit organisation, which trains diaspora, at the community level, in peace-building. PBTV offers an introductory toolkit to build the capacity of those inside their communities, who have found themselves, for various reasons, as informal inside mediators in their communities. I am a former student of Dr Johan Galtung & subscribe to his approaches to non-violent conflict resolution. These principles underlie my curriculum. I look forward to hearing from members of this association, about their experiences concerning this topic. Warmest, Flavia

BRAC is a development success story, spreading solutions born in Bangladesh around the world – a global leader in creating opportunity for the world’s poor. What started out as a limited relief operation in 1972 in a remote village of Bangladesh has turned into the largest development organisation in the world. Organising the poor using communities’ own human and material resources, BRAC (formerly Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee) catalyses lasting change, creating an ecosystem in which the poor have the chance to seize control of their own lives. We do this with a holistic development approach geared toward inclusion, using tools like microfinance, education, healthcare, legal services, community empowerment, social enterprises and BRAC University. Our work now touches the lives of an estimated 135 million people, with staff and BRAC-trained entrepreneurs numbering in the hundreds of thousands, a global movement bringing change to 12 countries in Asia, Africa and the Cari

I am the Founder and Publisher of 'N Gratitude Publishing Company, a small independent company, and also Author of the 2-part Return of the African Diaspora realistic fiction series. The series is about an African American woman who travels to Ghana, West Africa, and begins a quest to reunite the African Diaspora in America that was taken from Mother Africa by force. The Pillars of Business Success According to Prophet Shepherd Bushiri (Major 1), The Richest Person in Africa

In this article, Prophet Dr. Shepherd Bushiri (Major 1), revealed deep secrets of business success. Noble, humble, and trained character is necessary for you to achieve any success. A righteous character precedes all. Success is like the great big ocean. To achieve success, several streams, rivers, and attributes that all feed towards your ocean are needed. A biggest tragedy is that people do not finish what they start. Therefore, commitment is very important. After character, seek to be a person of unwavering commitment. If you can do this, then your success if guaranteed.
